Orthopaedic Surgeon
Subspecialty in Hand, Wrist, Elbow and Shoulder Surgery
Dr. Mathew is licensed to practice medicine in the province of Ontario. Born and raised in Newfoundland & Labrador, he is a graduate of Memorial University in Newfoundland, where he completed his medical school and Orthopaedic residency training in 2007. Dr. Mathew obtained his Royal College of Physicians and Surgeon accreditation in Orthopaedic Surgery in 2007.
He completed a post residency clinical fellowship in Hand and Upper Limb Surgery at the Hand and Upper Limb Centre, University of Western Ontario, Division of Orthopaedics, in 2008. In addition to general Orthopaedics, Dr. Mathew specializes in Hand and Elbow Disorders (including Arthroscopy), and Shoulder Disorders (including Arthroscopy and Arthroplasty).
Currently, he is an Orthopaedic Surgeon at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital, and also an Assistant Clinical Professor (Adjunct) of McMaster University’s Michael De Groot Medical School in Cambridge, Ontario. He is happily married with 2 children.
