Dr. James Leone B.Sc., B.Ed., MD, FRCSC
Orthopaedic Surgeon
Dr. Leone is a duly qualified medical practitioner licensed to practice medicine and surgery in the province of Ontario. He graduated from McMaster University in 2005. Following completion of a five year orthopaedic training fellowship, he obtained his Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons Accreditation in Orthopaedic Surgery that same year.
Dr. Leone completed a post-residency fellowship in Adult Reconstructive Lower Extremity Surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, USA in 2006.
He is presently an Orthopaedic Surgeon at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital.
In addition to a busy clinical practice specializing in adult lower extremity problems and reconstruction, he performs third party assessments for the insurance industry. Dr. Leone is also the Regional Education Leader for Orthopaedic Surgery, Waterloo Regional Campus, Michael DeGroote School of Medicine, McMaster University.
In his spare time, he enjoys coaching soccer, playing hockey, and spending time with his loving wife and three young children.
