Niyati is a registered Physiotherapist with special interest in musculoskeletal rehabilitation. She completed her bachelor program in Physiotherapy from India and holds a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Science from McMaster University. Along with constantly updating her knowledge by reading latest research papers, she has done courses in manual therapy and mobilization techniques for lower extremities and thoracic and lumbar spine. She is also interested in geriatric rehabilitation and has done advanced courses in Arthritis, Osteoporosis rehabilitation and maintenance of bone health. She is currently working towards specializing in hand therapy to help patients with hand injuries. With a positive motivation to improve quality of life and a passion to provide complete rehabilitation, she believes in delivering individualized treatment programs with a client centered approach. In her spare time, being a food lover that she is, she loves to cook and try new recipes and spend time with her husband and 2 kids. She looks forward to working with you.
Kendra Saunders graduated with a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Toronto. She became intrigued by sports injuries through personal experience as a varsity Fastpitch ball player at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore where she obtained her Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Exercise Science. Kendra’s philosophy in helping people recover from their injuries takes the person as a whole into consideration. She understands each client is unique and adapts treatment accordingly. Her treatments include a combination of education, hands-on care, and exercises to encourage her clients to have the quickest return to their normal activities of daily life. Kendra has taken further educational opportunities in taping, acupuncture, manual therapy and vestibular rehabiliation. Moving forward Kendra plans on taking courses in manual osteopathy. She continues to remain active in the community participating in softball and volleyball. When Kendra’s not playing sports she can be found spending time with her family.
Kristina is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor, and has been part of the Cambridge Centre for Health and Wellness team since early 2009. Born in Tecumseh, Ontario, Kristina later moved to Guelph to complete her Honours Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Guelph in 2003. With a strong passion for health and wellness, and the desire to positively influence others, she completed her training at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. Kristina acknowledges that each person is unique, and provides an individualized approach to treating her patients. Her clinical focus is on family health, as she treats a wide variety of conditions affecting infants to seniors. Kristina recognizes that prevention and patient education are essential to making long term interventions to take an active role in one’s health. As an active member in the community, she frequently gives information seminars on common health issues at various workplaces and community groups within Cambridge. Kristina is a member of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Medicine, The Cambridge Chamber of Commerce and the International Society of Sports Nutrition. She enjoys maintaining an active lifestyle through hiking, horseback riding and coaching children and adults in competitive and recreational riding. She currently resides in Guelph, with her husband, Jon.
Dan Chagnon is the Owner/Athletic Therapist of The Cambridge Centre for Health and Wellness. He brings 15 years of experience to the Centre. He was the Head Therapist at the University of Toronto, David L. MacIntosh Sport Medicine Clinic for 10 years. While there he worked with 45 Varsity Sports Teams, taught Sport Medicine and Emergency First Aid in the Faculty of Physical Education and Health and was part of the Senior Professional Managerial Staff of the University. He was a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He was the Curriculum Coordinator of Neuromuscular Conditioning at U of T for 8 years, teaching/training students, National, Olympic and Professional Athletes. He was a team therapist for the Canadian Men’s Rugby team for 10 years and Head Therapist for the Ontario Ruby Union for 6 years. Through his many experiences he has worked with numerous National teams, Olympic and Professional athletes and events. Dan is also an Instructor Trainer with the Canadian Red Cross for the past 17 years for their First Aid and First Responder programs. He has taken numerous manual therapy course including, Active Release Techniques©, Muscle Energy, Strain Counter Strain, Articular Pumping, Myofascial Release, Advanced Myofascial Stretching, Soft Tissue Release, Muscle Activation Techniques and Crainosacral Therapy. Dan brings a passion for Sport Medicine to the centre and enjoy’s Golf and Curling in his spare time.
Kirstie is a Physiotherapy Support Personnel. She graduated with honours from McMaster University in 2013 with a B.Sc. in Kinesiology degree. Her studies included courses in sports injuries, rehabilitation, anatomy, and athletic training and conditioning. Kirstie believes exercise prescription is an important part of a patient’s rehabilitation and prevention of injuries. She enjoys working as a team with the other therapists to provide the best possible treatment for the patient. When Kirstie is not working she enjoys coaching and participating in competitive swimming as well as spending time with her friends and family.
Kaylyn is a Certified Athletic Therapist and member of the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association. She graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Health Sciences in Athletic Therapy from Sheridan College; as well as a Honours Bachelor of Arts Specialization in Kinesiology from Western University. In the clinic it's Kaylyn’s goal to help each patient return to their pain free life in the best possible function. Outside of the clinic Kaylyn enjoys covering rugby games as medical coverage and volunteering as a Board Executive for a children's residential summer camp back in her home town.
Alex is a Physiotherapy Support Personnel. He graduated from Western University in 2015 with a M.Sc. and in 2012 with a B.Sc. in Kinesiology. His studies focused on exercise physiology, rehabilitation, and anatomy. With a focus on human movement and exercise prescription, Alex's goal in the clinic is to help patients reach their goals in recovery and returning them to a functional and pain-free way of living. When Alex is not working, he enjoys participating in competitive basketball, other various pick-up sports, and playing guitar or piano along with other musicians.
Haiyan graduated with honours from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy (CCMH) in 2012. She is a member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO). Haiyan specializes in Sports massage and can provide deep tissue massage techniques when necessary as well as a soothing touch for relaxation. She has experience in treating Sports related injuries, Postural conditions, Repetitive strains and sprains, Work-related injuries, MVA injuries, Pregnancy discomfort, Headaches, and other medical and stress-related ailments. Some of her modalities include: Swedish, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, range of motion stretching, joint mobilizations, hydrotherapy and manual lymph drainage.
Erica Knight is a Registered Massage Therapist that graduated with Honours from the Canadian Therapeutic College in Burlington in 2002. In addition, Erica is also a Registered Acupuncturist practicing since 2005, and is a member of the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario (CTCMPAO). She has a vast experience in treating all types of acute and chronic physical conditions, general relaxation, sports injury, work related injury, medical conditions, pregnancy and stress related tension. Erica tailors her massage and acupuncture treatments based on your needs in order to achieve optimal physical health and wellness. Erica strives to educate clients that Massage Therapy and Acupuncture with Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Exercise, & Relaxation are safe and effective techniques to help restore balance allowing our body’s to heal and restore function. In Erica’s spare time, she enjoys creating memories with her husband and two girls, playing guitar, songwriting and performing.
Chris is a Registered Massage Therapist in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO). He has 17 years of clinical experience working as an Athletic Therapist and Massage Therapist. He is a graduate of the University of Guelph (biological science), Sheridan College (athletic therapy), Canadian Therapeutic College (massage therapy) and has finished his courses in Osteopathty. His focus of treatment is to ensure the body is properly aligned from head to toe, there is a good mobility of all structures, and vitality is present throughout the body. This is achieved through specific palpation and treating the whole body to ensure proper function of all systems of the body. he has experience treating any age of client from children to the elderly. He has experience treating post-operative clients, headaches, whiplash, concussions, muscle/ligament strains of sprains, pain related to the fascia, and chronic pain. He is familiar with the mechanics of sports, work related or motor vehicle related injuries and how to rehabilitate the client back to a pr injury level. Chis is a life-long resident of Cambridge where he currently resides with his wife and 2 children.
Courtney graduated from Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 2010 and is a member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) Courtney specializes in deep tissue therapy, sports massage, pregnancy massage, deep pressure, and myofascial release. She has an interest in exploring holistic nutrition in homeopathic medicine. Courtney has a strong background in several dance styles including jazz, tap, ballet, and modern which gives her a unique and deep appreciation for human movement.

Dana has over 6 years experience is various customer service positions. She strives to know all her patients by name when they come to the clinic. After work Dana loves to spend time with her family and friends, she has lots of nieces and nephews that keep her busy.
